Dan's funeral was something very special as I am sure anyone who went would agree ...

...  a large Marquee in the middle of a field and.... friends sitting on brilliant blue rugs..... everyone dressed in bright colours.. even the funeral director was persuaded out of black ..

We remembered this cracking guy ... read his own description of himself from his myspace... and in the end, at Dan's request, had champagne and party poppers to the sound of the Blues Brothers.

As we cleared up the litter from 200 party poppers we realised... even then we were tidying up behind Dan! 

Napoleon's did Dan proud with a lovely spread and his band played on...

truly a day to remember
